Wayne is a lifelong resident of Buford, Gwinnett County, Georgia, having been born in 1964; and is a 1982 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. He matriculated his college education at Oxford College of Emory University and received his degree from Emory University in 1986. Thereafter, he attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he received his J.D. degree in 1989. While in law school, Wayne earned the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellent Achievement in the Study of Constitutional Law II.
Wayne is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Federal Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and all state, county and municipal courts in Georgia. Wayne has significant jury trial experience in several ares of the law. Further, he has served numerous times as a special master in condemnation proceedings as well as a guardian ad litem in child custody cases. Also, Wayne has appeared both by brief and by oral argument in the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals in the State of Georgia.
